Trapped eastern fence lizard

After I used a large shovel to help this fidgety creature out of the half filled large planter, I filled it with soil so when another creature visits it, it will be able to get out.

Un visiteur inattendu. Il a trouvé un endroit tranquille pour son bain de soleil.

Wow, what a great creature to have visit you! And an excellent shot. Very glad you are ensuring future ones can easily get out. We have no lizards around here :-( V

Glad it had a nice outcome. We used to get squirrels who would fall into the horse water troughs trying to get a drink, so we had a rope ladders in them so the little critters could climb out and not drown..
