Perpetrator #2

Yesterday I noticde the lobelia plants in one of my boxes getting very ragged looking with their tops missing. It took me several trips outside to find perpetrator #1, but I "re-homed" it 30 feet down beneath the deck.

This morning I saw more caterpillar poop and knew another one (or more) was at work. Found this one faster because I knew to look for a fat "stem" since the creature's color matched the stems so well.

Very well camouflaged little eater...

Don't they blend well! This looks to be one of the Noctuidad of some sort, very adept at hiding in plain sight. V

This cute caterpillar blends so well with the stem...love the almost translucent body and such appealing green color...V
