After an unfortunate deck stain spill on the carpeting downstairs we had to change the flooring and went for a laminate that looked awful when the harsh ceiling fluorescents were on. We bought a rug, some tables and lamps and a screen to hide all the wires behind the tv and played with arrangements which never quite felt right to my eyes.

This is my husband's "man cave", where he watches tv, and nothing much else goes on, but I wanted it to look warm and inviting.
