Air Fried Turkey Thighs

I'm not crazy about preparing and roasting turkey and. for just the two of us this year, decided to try a couple of turkey thighs in my air fryer. Great decision. Put softened butter (actually Land O'Lakes Butter with Olive Oil and Sea Salt)mixed with chopped fresh sage (which I had in my garden) under the skin, added a bit of granulated garlic and topped with salt, pepper and granulated garlic. Preheated the air fryer to 360F, put a piece of Chinese steamer paper on the bottom of the basket and added the thighs, cooking and checking temperatures about every 7 minutes. Used an instant reading thermometer to check for 165F. They were perfect! Crispy skin and moist meat. (Served of course with the requisite homemade gravy -in this case made homemade chicken broth because I had no turkey drippings), sweet potatoes and apples, topped with chopped pecans and drizzled with maple syrup and melted butter, Pepperidge Farm Herb Stuffing with Italian sausage added to the usual onions and celery, and broccoli.

They certainly look delicious. I've never heard of an air fryer!
