In multipoint focus mode. Unfortunately, GH2 reverts to jpg only in burst mode and default sharpening of jpg images is too strong. After a few test images with the gh2 I put the 100-300 on the gx7 and it is nowhere near as good and quick at capturing focus as it is on the gh2, but the gh2 higher iso images are much noisier.
