Tonight I put the GX7 and Panasonic 35-100 to work in silent mode at a candidates' forum in a high ceilinged meeting room lit with banks of fluorescent lights as well as some other very bright bulbs of undetermined type. Camera was set to auto white balance. While I normally use Auto ISO it yielded 3200 and I wanted to go down to 1600 or lower so switched to manual exposure and adjusted aperture and shutter speed accordingly watching the histogram.

I am delighted with the color and have to say I think the OOC jpgs may have color even better than what my e-pl5 might have turned out, but I really can't say for certain.

I just know that in lower light the GX7 really shines and it is extremely nice to have that silent shutter for when you don't want to disturb a meeting.
