A friend gave me some moonflower seedlings and for the past few mornings I've been going out before dawn to see if their blossoms had opened. Planning on removing the plants after I've seen them bloom because I've read that they can be pests. I don't want another invasive species. This morning the birds were especially vocal and I heard some new songs. Unfortunately, our proximity to Asheville Airport often gets in the way of my recordings:
