When I lifted the blinds to let in light on a dreary day I saw what I thought was a spent flower blossom in the corner of the window. Turned out it was this.

The spots on the window are a combination of dirt and marks between the panes caused by a broken seal.

It is going to be fun to watch this nest grow. (The window is way to high to get rid of it safely or easily.)
