This year there'll only be four pots in my container garden. I just temporarily placed the plants from Home Depot in these larger pots so the roots can expand before they're placed in four same size, same soil large pots on the deck. We'll use drip irrigation and hopefully won't be inundated with veggie-ruining torrential rainfalls as they were last summer. Plants are roma tomato, grape tomato (no variety name) bush cucumber and Japanese eggplant. I put parsley and basil on the slope out front. Hopefully roaming critters won't feed on them. I've never had trouble with parsley, but I think basil disappeared once.
