Invasive Weed

I know I once saw it shown on a chart of weeds you don't want taking over your landscape, but this one has already taken over. Do you know what it is?

I don't know what it is. Looking at both the leaves and the roots of the pulled-up plants in the lower left corner, it looks a little like something related to bamboo, spreading through its root system. I don't envy you.

Maybe you can just call it a naturalized garden and people should compliment you on your forward-thinking attention to native species?? :-)

Don't you hate it when something like that tries to take over? We have several weeds that are just a plain nusense and take over everywhere!
