We recently visited St. Simons, Jekyll, and Sapelo islands off the Georgia coast and I took way more pictures than I should have. I will never look at a sandy seashore the same way again, now that I know what's lurking under those grains, and clinging to marsh grass. I will be posting way fewer pictures than I took so you can get the flavor of our experience. I went with only my LX3 and missed not having a longer lens. I also found the lcd extremely difficult to see in bright sun, and ordered a Clearviewer as soon as I got home since the one my husband had on his Panasonic ZS3 was a tremendous help to him. http://www.clearviewer.com
