Canon EF 35mm f/2

Initially had focus inconsistency with this lens so I sent it under warranty to Canon for calibration. Works fine now and except for the noisy focus I really like it. One thing I've discovered that's very pleasing about this lens is the color it produces, very saturated and contrasty...sometimes so much so that I have to make an adjustment to lessen those effects.

A bit late for response (I did respond privately)...I really like the 35 f/2...especially after I sent it to Canon for calibration. Only negative is the "fly in a box" loud focus.

I just wanted to say that I like your photography. I just bought the Canon 20D and I'm considering getting the Canon 35mm f/2 lens for my "normal" lens. Your pictures seem pretty sharp and color accurate to me. How do you rate the lens after using it for some time?
