I am a big fan of graffiti art. Los Angeles is filled with many talented artists who use the walls of the city as their canvas. Very often graffiti art is a vehicle for political, social, or cultural commentary. Often they are just fun. These images, taken while walking the streets of the downtown art district and the alleys behind Melrose Ave., mark the beginnings of my exploration into this expressive art form. I hope to expand this gallery as I find more interesting examples of these "talking walls."
