ICELAND 2013

Route 1, also know as the Ring Road, is a national road that runs around the island connecting many of the best attractions of Iceland as well as most of the towns, including Reykajavik. For convenience, I have divided the Ring Road into three sub-galleries: the South Coast, Heading East, and North by Northwest. I have also included a gallery entitled "Street Scenes" which highlights the people (lots of children, of course)of Iceland and scenes from the capital, Reykajavik and the town of Akureyri in the North.

You always capture the essence and the soul of every place you photograph, and Iceland is at the top of that list. My favorites are always the street scenes and the people and, of course, the captions.

I am back in Iceland seeing the beauty, feeling the spray from the water falls and feeling the cold on my face. You captured the magic of Iceland through your lenses. You have a special talent. Thanks for bringing back the wonderful memories of this sparsely populated country full of diverse beauty that you captured so well.

Never have I seen such a diverse collection of images from a trip to Iceland. Looks like you had a great opportunity with this trip and gave it your unique perspective. But my favorite gallery is Street Scenes, where you show us the real character of Iceland in it's people - especially the monochromes.

I especially liked the waterfalls, geothermal areas and amazing puffin photos. You get extra credit for braving the cold and wet climate.

The puffins and waterfalls are magical on the south coast. The flowers while heading east are so very lovely. What a empty area with such interesting land forms! My favorite gallery includes all the grafitti and children. Those kids look other-worldy, like princes and princesses. The grafitti is amazingly colorful. Love, love, love your eye.
