These sculptures are so evocative of human values in their own right. This image seems more expressive than most because you abstract it by showing only part of the art, using a blank sky to stress the feeling in it, and taking out the irrelevant background altogether.
One of my favorites in this whole gallery I think! The partial figures cropped just like this really do depict elation and joy with arms flying in the air! Very effective and so well done Iris! May we all feel some of this joy once in awhile.
