I just came back to this gallery to add my voice to the others that have commented on this image. You not only abstract the subjects, but you also draw a strikingly incongruous contrast between active and passive forms, imposed on a geometric grid. The result is a profound image expressing not only the human value of disengagement, but also the essence of the museum -- your image reflects the early styles (modernism, bauhaus, etc.) that established MOMA itself.

There is such a sense of foreboding here and the image causes me to ask so many questions. Are they strangers? Why is the man sitting?

WOW! My favorite image in this gallery! It feels so 21st century. Big Vote!
