Pics of part of The Bloody Angle - Spotsylvania Court House Battlefield - Virginia. The entire battlefield is quite large. We used to love walking our dog here when we lived in VA. For a place with such a bloody, horrible history it's extremely peaceful now. Hallowed ground. If you visit take the time to see the remains of the Landrum House. I've added several pics that don't belong here but not sure what I'm going to do with them yet. Those are from The Battle of Big Bethel which is nowhere near The Bloody Angle. It's on "The Peninsula" near the military base lake. The base housing nearby is called Bethel housing. I'm not sure how else to give directions but will try to figure that out.
