Where Trains Were

This gallery features photographs of railroads that were: tracks and locations that once saw trains, or that still see trains but not very often.

This collection was inspired by a Christmas gift, David Plowden's book "A Time for Trains". David Plowden is my all-time favorite photographer, with wonderful gifts for both vision and craft. Since most of his work was done in black and white, this gallery will feature black and white photographs.
