Fostoria, Ohio

In Fostoria, Ohio, an hour or so south of Toledo, three busy double-track lines cross each other in an iron triangle. The former B&O line, running east-west, crosses the former C&O line, running north-south. Both are now owned by CSX. An NS line runs northeast-southwest, crossing the B&O west of the B&O/C&O diamond and crossing the C&O north of the other diamond. There are transfer tracks in all four quadrants of the B&O/C&O crossing, and a transfer track from NS's Blair Yard, east of the C&O, onto the B&O. CSX also uses that track to get to the Mixing Center, a yard a few miles east of the triangle.
