Arles, Provence.
No wonder Vincent Van Gogh came to this city to do some of his most famous paintings in the late 1800s. It's a relatively small city with a lot of charm. Unfortunately many of the buildings and sites that he painted were destroyed in Allied bombing raids so only his paintings remain to document life back in his days.
