This lighthouse, along with about a dozen or so private homes, is situated at the end of what amounts to a sand bar jutting out into Cape Cod Bay and forms Barnstable Harbor.
The only access to any of these homes is either by boat or by four-wheel drive vehicle, since there is no road.
