After walking about a mile in soft sand along the beach to try to get closer to this lighthouse, I couldn't get any closer than about half a mile.
This is a crop of a photo taken with as much reach as I had available to me at the time.
I was just a second late getting the shot. The bird should have been to the left of the lighthouse.
