Caddo Lake straddles the borders of Texas and Louisiana and is the only natural lake in Texas. It is a photographer's paradise, specially in the fall. I was very fortunate to have been able to join up with a couple of veteran photographers from Louisiana, one of whom had a boat. A recent cold front caused low fog over the lake which made for perfect shooting conditions at sunrise. For a while I was so captivated by the play of light on the slowly rolling fog that I was forgetting to shoot!

Note that the images with "CaddoLake" in the filename were shot this November 2012 under similar conditions as the fog shots from two years ago. However due to the fact that it was a little later in the year the morning fog was not as prominent. Also, note that images not showing a shutter speed consist of two or more exposures combined in Nik HDR Efex Pro.
