Black Diamond Mines, 2010
An incredible 4 millions tons of coal (black diamonds) were removed from the earth, from 1850 to the early 1900's. The city of Black Diamond was renamed to Pittsburg in 1906. It's a beautiful place and I encourage you to visit this remarkable site.
