Because of office commitments, I missed the morning ferry to Tung Pang Chau on 23.11.02 and had to catch the afternoon one. By the time I got to the island and made my way to the westward side, the sun had already retired below the horizon. I could only manage a few shots (included here despite their poor quality, just for completeness' sake). The next morning, thick clouds also ruined the sunrise scene. For the rest of the day, I ended up harassing the little guys (bugs and flies) with my camera and flash. I bet these little guys hated my guts.

I did not leave the island with my diving buddies as planned in order to stay behind for another 50 minutes longer and had another go at the setting sun.

I dived in this island numerous times before. This trip, I decided to stay dry throughout. I figured I wouldn't have enjoyed the underwater as much without nice underwater camera gears and photography skills like many of my diving buddies possess. Upon reflection, this turned out to be a right decision this time round since I did not have to on a rush all the time. I could actually do things in a leisure pace. Another one of those fulfilling trips on the island.

The only regret I had was that this time, the island was not the peaceful and quiet place I remembered her anymore. Only a few years back, I could stroll around the island and not bump into a single soul (other than the dogs you see in one of the photos below). Nowadays, the island is full of tourists, specially on Sundays. For this particular trip, I must have come across at least forty different photographers in one day, many of them loaded with professional gears. I ended up having to visit my favorite spots after the crowd had cleared, like staying behind till the very last ferry of the week departed.
