Hiking the Plover Cove Country Park º_¾ð¯ïªKÂêù¬Ö, Hong Kong

On 26.12.02, with buddies from the Climb-up hiking group, we visited part of the Plover Cover Counry park. We hiked along some interesting coastlines (with Shenzhen, China on the other side of the water), and visited a few deserted villages along the way. The sky was heavily overcast. And it was rather windy and cold at times, with a few drizzles thrown in from upstairs towards the end of the trip.

Armed with my beloved digicam, I decided not to be frustrated by the weather. I experimented with the contrast/saturation settings (hence some B&Ws) and the zoom range (hence people shots) for the first time. The following are some of my new attempts. If I inadvertently not do justice to the beautiful people and scenery I took pictures of, please bear with my teething pain and be forgiving. But if some of these photos really bother you, just shout and leave a message here. I will be more than happy to accommodate.

Knowing I meant no harm (I stood my ground despite their fierce barks), they gave up. Brinkmanship at work here.
