To you, this is a place with no character. To me, the place is very much a part of my childhood.
Cloth lines. I broke a few of these steel wires then when using them as swing. |
Stairway next to my home. As a 7-yr old, I tried to outperform others by jumping the whole flight of stairs in one leap. |
The attempt failed. I pulled my left leg off its socket at the hip, putting me out of commission for over five months. |
Looking down from high up at my playground (between Block A and Block B) |
My favourite play spot. We often used these two cement blocks as bases to play cops and robbers. |
For the longest time, I had a hard time climbing up this block. |
As kids, we used to rest here, watching the moon and stars above us, and telling each other stories. |
Another view of my "backyard" |
My backyard, where fun games and fist fights with the bullies often took place. |
Mail boxes. The one at the lowest right corner was once ours. |
One of my monkey poles where I practised climbing up to the roof in record time. |
this store used to sell propane tanks and other flammable, right in fornt of my home. |
