Thanks for your nice comments! I am just a amateur, not putting too much time into this...

I thnk if you know how to handle it, the FZ 18 is a better camera for me then the Nikon D 70.

The quality of the D 70 is better, but the Autofocus, the automatic modes are so good on the FZ 18, that it makes you forget somme smaller isues like the noise. Anyway, most people will not see the difference, and it is very handy, don't need to carry all these lences...
