Field Marigold, Calendula arvensis Asteraceae (Daisy) Family.

This orange/yellow composite grows in patches behind Sunnyvale recycling plant. It is an
exotic plant, native to Europe.

Hairy-edged leaves clasp stems. Should not be confused with the true marigolds of genus Tagetes.
