A little green patch on the ceiling turned out to be little ridged spheres
when viewed up close. I believe these were left by a female moth -- moths
get in the house all the time, even in winter. On another occasion I found a
patch on a wall, very similar to these, but this time on a vertical surface. In
neither case were were able to determine exactly who or what left them there.
