                    Bluets, genus Enallagma

                    Bluet species are not generally separable in the field except between two basic types:

                    1) abdomen more blue than black: Northern, Boreal and Familiar Bluets; all labeled here as "Northern" should be
                    considered "Northern type" until further identification can be made.

                    2) abdomen more black than blue: Tule and Arroyo Bluets; all labeled here as "Tule" should be
                    considered "Tule type" until further identification can be made.
