Thanks guys! I used a Canon 50mm f/1.8 (yep the cheap one) and a manual focus/aperture Nikkor 50mm f/1.8 (yep also a cheap one). The canon mounted on the camera, the front of the nikkor against the front of the canon, this makes a nice 1:1 macro, although working distance is only 2.5cm (1"). So you'll need some docile subjects (or cold weather, say 10C). And I used a flash the 430ex. I used a large white plastic bag to diffuse the light. It will not auto focus, you'll need to move back and forth and shoot a lot of pictures for a couple keepers.I used f/18 on the canon, wide open on the Nikkor.
