Toon: Yes the D200 and D70 do much better, but the artifacts are from the jpeg compression software. All images have been compressed to save space and help keep them from being used with out permission. I have made some wonderful

For a good comparison the pictures (almost all) show too much jpeg artefacts.
In this way it not possible to judge the quality of lenses or cameras.
To my opinion the D200 can do far better.
