Muscle Car Parts did me good and shipped the proper part after sending me the 1968-69 rear trim in error.
The bottom one is for the 1970-72 Nova look at the difference. Only nova addicts would now this.......

Not to mention the wrong one is slightly longer. The vertical lines go along with the front grill lines.
