Dad could fit two crates of beer in this baby along with some milk, butter, a Sunday roast and a pound of lard.
And that beer came in quart bottles, Sonny Jim. Real bottles for a thirsty man. A thirsty man tired after doing manly things.
A good solid fridge, made by an American company. Who also made cars. God bless.

Started by the Buick motor company in 1916, the name of the company was changed to "Kelvinator Company" in honor of British physicist, Lord Kelvin, the discoverer of absolute zero.
On January 4, 1937, the company merged with Nash Motors to form Nash-Kelvinator Corporation.
Nash-Kelvinator became a division of American Motors (AMC) when Nash merged with Hudson in 1954.
AMC sold off its Kelvinator operations in 1968. Kelvinator joined White Consolidated Industries, a company that had also acquired the rights to Frigidaire (formerly owned by General Motors).
White Consolidated Industries was acquired by Electrolux of Sweden in the early 80's.
In the early 1990s, the name of the Dublin, Ohio based holding company changed to Frigidaire Company.
