Safety First

Agra Foundations operates their Low Drill on Wascana Lake for pilings as part of the new foot bridge across the lake.
The ice had to be built up to five feet thick to safely support the 63,000lb machine.

Notice the four guys way off to the right and that the guy near the drill has an "X" on his back. Hmmmm :-)

Great perspective. Wow, 5 feet thick? That's almost as tall as me!

Nice PoV with the arch leading us - but I won't want to be around if they have to resort to using that small life ring - things would have to gone terribly wrong.

Interesting....How did they build the ice up that thick? I would have thought that that would be quite a challenge.
