It's Been A Year!!!!

Very hard to swallow that it has been a year since the demolition here of the Royal Hotel and soon to follow
Brunswick in the back ground. River Street has taken on a new look with the Multiplex Project to the left of this image.
Moose Jaw has made room for "New" development in it's downtown core and things are going to look a lot
different in the next several years. While it's sad to see places like the Brunswick, Ace and others go their
foundations or supports were not going to last. Two more buildings on this block will see demo and
in a few more years we just may see the rest on High Street make room for the much needed parking for the Multiplex.

I love this shot Mike, I really like the old buildings and hate to see them disappear! Progress is good! Great documentation, I love exploring your galleries.

Nice documentation of this slice of history crumbling away. Progress continues ..

Then Moose Jaw will look exactly like Peterborough, Kingston, Belleville, Milton, etc....

At least the town is trying to do something good for the town and it's people. That's more than what's happening around here IMHO.

I hate that they tore those down. The art on that wall has got to be worth something. Unbelievable that it has been a year since all this transpired. Great shot. I do love your images of it!

Oh the stories those now exposed walls could tell of the 100+ years of 'renters'. Not a fan (as you know) of history lost, but a bang up job of recording its loss.
