I have a Whitlock-Marlatt Ltd "we carry only high grade coal and wood" piece which must have been something 'complimentary' the business gave to customers - it is in a frame with an old house photo on one side and a seaside/rocks scene on the other with a temperature guage in the centre. History of this piece?

I am a signwriter by profession and though retired, love to see beautiful old signs like these. All the modern neon and computer generated signs will never have the character these examples have! BC
