CAT 24 H Rebuild Project

This a complete rebuild of a CAT 24H Motor Grader. The 24H is the largest grader that Caterpillar makes at 53 feet long and 15 feet high. Follow this project for the next 4-6 months and watch how it go's from old to new.
UPDATE THE 24H IS GOING BACK TOGETHER LOT'S WILL HAPPEN IN THE NEXT 4-6 WEEKS
UPDATE # 2 THE 24H IS NOW RUNNING ON THE STANDS IT'S NOT TO LONG NOW BEFORE SHE IS ON ALL TIRES AND ON THE GROUND.
UPDATE # 3 THE 24H IS GOING THROUGH IT'S OPERATIONAL TESTS AND ALL IS GOING FINE.
THE 24H IS DONE AND IS ON THE WAY HOME.........

Great collection of pics of your (all of you) work. It is not easy and can be dangerous (big iron). I throughly injoyed examining the process and the detail I can glean out of the pics (I noticed as least two modifications). We have a team of 12-14 assembling the 24H and now the 24M here in Decatur, Illinois. I have shared the site with the other team members, all are amazed/impressed. As a shop floor assembler I can assure you that we build every 24 to be the best product out there (I think we have the best assembly team in the plant). Thanx again for the website.

I love this gallery. One of the more interesting things I've found on this site. I suspect it's more fun to look at than to actually work on though.
