With all that was going on with preparations for the baby, we just didn't have the energy to do one big party for Ian's birthday. So we split it up into a small party on his birthday for us, a small immediate family gathering a week later, and another party just for the kids. That was tonight. We had about 10 kids over for a couple of hours. 3 birthday parties! I'm not sure that beats Disney from last year, but it's got to come close.


We finally took down the "Happy Birthday" banner that we hang in the kitchen for every birthday, and Ian gave us the "Awwww...!"


We just looked at him and said, "Birthday season is over, dude!"
