Boozy Break in Beccles?

view map

My pin in the map landed on Beccles! Golf, Boat Hire, Museum and a nice Hotel sound promising.

I wonder if the locals are friendly? LOL!

My entry for the Thursday challenge (theme: a drink for the holiday). More #here#

I hear the natives are restless . . .

Fun! And I like that the focus is on the map rather than the glass. :)

Nancy Lobaugh11-Jul-2008 15:28
looks like you just need to pop by the boat hire, and you're at the beach shortly afterwards!

I've heard it's the place to be. Admittedly it was the Beccles Tourist Office that told me but whatever... great shot John!

Pitch a tent on the edge of the golf course & you'll have more money for the superstore & boat hire !!
Lee Rudd10-Jul-2008 17:18

Let's do our next Pbase gathering on Boney's Island.

Then we can head on over to the Superstore for some
shopping and comparing notes over ice cream.
: )
Barbara Heide10-Jul-2008 14:11
lol! they are very welcoming, if you bring a nice bottle round!
Phillip Normanton10-Jul-2008 14:10
I hear the natives have all gone on a drinking holiday, so you should have the place pretty much to yourself :-))
Máire Uí Mhaicín10-Jul-2008 14:04
Looks like you'd be able to play golf, go boating, shopping, swimming, visit a museum, and have more good wine in a nice hotel, restuarant or golf club. I know someone who sticks a pin in the map of England every year and holidays at the pinspot!
