Born at Lima, Peru, in 1579 and died in November 3, 1639. Feast day: November 3. Patron saint of barbers.
The son of a Spanish gentleman and a former slave from Panama, he is usually depicted with
a broom and a dish where a dog, cat, and dove eat together harmoniously at his feet.
