I found this picture after my mothers death, so we never really sat down and talked about it, but I do feel it is a class of Central High, or Junior High students. There are two reasons for that opinion. One, when I was a teenager, I asked my mother where she went to school
and she told me Central. Two, the girl on the front row, second from the left has CHS on her sleeve. On the back of the picture, written in pencil are the words Ju High, that's why I think it is a junior high picture. Also, those kids look very young. My mother didn't graduate from Central since she quit school and got married when she was seventeen. My mother was born Sept 4, 1906, so this picture would have had to have been taken in the late teens or very early twenties. There are no names or any other identification on the picture. Sorry, I wish I could be of more help to you. My mother Lucille Haygood is on the back row, far left.
Sincerely,
Mary Curry
