This aircraft carrier is now a museum ship docked in Alameda, CA just across the bay from San Francisco. I stumbled upon it as I was driving around the dock areas at the end of the day looking for shots. The low sun was just blasting against the side of the immense hull. The tender boat tied next to it added great perspective and further interest. I highly recommend this and the whole dock area to photographers in the area or passing through.
