This weekend, at Old Fort Niagara, there was an
encampment of re-enactors depicting the French and Indian
(Seven Years)War, July 1757 siege of the fort where
control of the fort was taken by the British from the French.
These folks, in period dress, were resting from the afternoon July
heat of 2008.
