Tortoise

Children are great with finding things. They found this tortoise for me! The tortoise was scared at first so he was sitting hidden in his shell. Since my kids enjoyed playing in the water I had plenty of time and I waited for him to get used to my presence. For the first hour or so the tortoise was only peeking at us from inside his shell. Then suddenly he decided to jump into the water. He was moving really fast on land and it turned out he was a very good swimmer too.
