Stonehenge

My husband grew up in the area and used to ride his bike to Stonehenge and he and his friends would play among the stones.
Maybe that's why he loves history so much!
It was a very moving experience seeing it in the dead of winter with no noisy tourists to distract your focus - you could feel the history.

Carol, this is a a very emotive rendition of a scene that I know so well. But there again does any one really know the mystery of these stones. To stand looking toward them for a few moments the scene changes moment by moment and even on a still day the sounds and vibrations are immense... v
