Chequamegon National Forest southeast of Grand View, 27 June 2008
I was standing on the road near the end of my driveway, watching dragonflies, when I looked up to see this wolf staring back at me, a couple hundred yards away. I got a few photos before it slowly trotted off into the adjacent alder swamp after about a minute or so.
