There are people who need to feel part of a group; to be sure to exist and to feel comfortably reassured, doing what is expected, according to already made models, not only for all what concerns the sphere of work, but also - and probably mostly - for what is related with the free time and the entertainment.
Other people prefer to take a little distance from crowds and to share it, maybe, with a well selected companion.
It’s not necessary to speak constantly to feel on the same wavelength.
On the opposite the silence is a good test.
There are two main kinds of silence, the one which is embarrassing and makes us feel ill at ease. There is an urge to fill it with words, to cancel its burden.
Then there is the other kind of silence, the one which is a silent conversation, a meaningful silent which makes two people even closer, as if it was a way to tell each other:
