This small temple structure, situated in a cemetery, is the mausoleum of Irohahime, the daughter of Date Masamune. The guardian deity enshrined within, Mizuko Jizō, is the kami of deceased and unborn children (represented elsewhere by the many small Jizō statues throughout Japan).
